How to disable dropdown value from dropdown field

I dont want to show the value from drop down list field how it is possible pls help me I have to show this value as blank..?

Have an attribute in your context ,say Enable_flag and bind it to the enabled property of your dropdown.

Whenever you need to disable the drpdown set this attribute as ' '(space)

Hi!

disable the dropdownlistbox in order to make it not clickable and invalidate the context node/attribute containing the values of the dropdownlistbox to empty it.

disable value help thru the component controller context or define here what really is your problem.

Actually I have one view which contain trayes , one specific tray table row ,I need disable drop down for two fields I mean user cant select value from drop down..? It should come intial value as blank..!
