Describe Requirement - Description Text Field (40 Char)

Hi,

When creating a 'Describe Requirement' SC, the description field is limited to 40 characters (standard SRM).Where can you change the flexibility of this field to allow more characters?

hi,

even if you change the template and ensure that you are able to enter description which is more than 40 characters.

system will not be storing the value in the table at database level.

for you to achieve this ,

1) you need to ensure to change the template to enable entry of more than 40 characters.

2) change the field at the table level to ensure that the additional characters are saved in the database.
