Hi experts,

i'd like to know why if i use the transaction Users_gen for uploading an user, this is uploaded in a correct way but with this symbol -- " -- in front of the user name.

Is there anyone who can tell me how is possible to erase this symbol?

I'm using SRM 3.0 and a file is with the extention .csv

Hi,

You are getting the " in the user ID because of data in the file ( may be extra tabs in the data ).

Best way is to down load couple of users and use the same file with the updated data to upload.

Hope this resolvs the issue.

thanks for the answer, but yesterday i've tried to do this but is the same. I see this problem both in file with extension .csv and .xls also if the users are downloaded by the system and uploaded again without changes.

Hi,

This is the issue with the file content and I guess not with the file type, because i too use the excel (csv) format to upload the users.

May be this helps you.
