My Xi system is not recognizing host name. It needs the IP to be specified.
I added it in the hosts file of my front end machine.
But it is still not helping.
So Can you pl let me know where else I can change to reflect IP instead of host name?
Also what is the URL to access Adapter Monitoring.
Thanks,
Bhaskar
hi Bhaskar
you may have to add the ip in the DNS(TCP/IP settings for network) also if your machine does not resolve the host name.
You can access the adapter monitoring in the
http://<server>:<port>/rwb/index.jsp
under component monitoring .

Hi,
then you made somethong wrong. At least the hosts file should help..
Adapter Monitor:
http://<xi_box_adress>:<port>/MessagingSystem
a, it is case sensitive
b, there are of course only java based adapters (no idoc)
ooops, now I see.. Yes, Adapters are of course in the Runtime Workbench.. Component Monitoring and then Adapter Monitoring and for some adapters Communication Channel Monitor

hi,
URL
http://<hotsname>:<portno>/mdt/amtServlet port is J2EE port.
or
from RWB>Component Monitoring>select all Display>Adapter Engine>Adapter monitoring
but it has been moved to Communication channel monitoring in PI7.0
