Hi
Pricing Procedures are defined based on the Business Processes
For Ex:
In my previous company, we are defined three P Procedures because
my company is doing MANUFACTURING, TRADING and EXPORTS
Depends upon the requirements, we defined the P Procedures....OK

Hello Swathi,
Pricing procedures are used as per the compaies requirement.
In the pricing procedure, you define which condition types should be
taken into account and in which sequence. During pricing, the SAP System
automatically determines which pricing procedure is valid for a business
transaction and it takes the condition types contained in it into
account one after the other.
Basically, PP is a collection of condition types which comprises of your price, taxes, discounts etc.
Now for example, i have a group of customer for which i want to give a discount of 10 % along with the basic price and no taxes applicable. then I will be using a pricing procedure having condition types PR00, VPRS (cost) and some discount condition types.
Now if i want to collect some taxes from another group of cutomer i will be using a PP which has condition type MWST.
Then my document will pick up the pricing procedure on the basis of customization settings in SPRO.
the determination criteria is sales are + doc. PP + cust. PP.
SAP suggets:
Define your own pricing procedures which contain only those
condition types which you use. Otherwise, the system makes
unneccessary accesses to conditions.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Priyanka
