No file under Datafile , While doing Client Export

Hi Gurus,

I need ur help immediately , while I was doing client export , there were no files created under datafile , only file(prdkt00009) created under co files after 3 days also.

there is supposed to be file created unde data file also..but no file created and when i check log using scc3 it is saying export is processing and in sm37 it is showing as Active , not giving any error.

today is 3 rd day after i have started export. production client is very small one only 200 users are accessing .

request you help me to sort out what went wrong.

Hello Rajani,

Can you check the log of this at OS level in \usr\sap\trans\log

look for the latest updated file. Just look if its getting updated correctly.

Otherwise your process is hung.

Better you rename the file and restart the export it will work.

Hi Rajani,

This is the time it takes in case of client export, so you better think of system copy. Why you are not able to see any data file is? , still your job is active and it's processing. You can see it only when it's completed. Try to flush users and lock the client if possible, this may increase speed.
