hi friends i have created delivery and trying to do pgi but not happening what could be the reasons

As other friends have stated, please be clear what exact error throws while doing PGI.

In VL01N/VL02N, normally in the tab "PICKING", if storage location or plant is missing, you cannot do PGI. Check this and try.

please be specific in posting ur questions so that u get precise answer.

check for :

1.material availability

2.g/l accounts

3.posting periods

etc.

There could be numerous reasons:

1. See if the picking qty and delivery qty is same in delivery doc

2. If confirmation is required for TO, ensure that it is done

3. See all the customization required for PGI - that setting up of Valuation Account assignment in MM is done.

4. If packing is required, ensure it done.

Reda the on the error message and work accordingly.

Post the error which u r encountering erectly steps may be

Go to t.Code: Vl01n

Go to Picking Tab and enter picking quantity

Click on "Post Goods Issue" in the top LHS.

If you are doing PGI with out ware house management please follow the below procedure

go to transaction code VL01N DO THE DELIVERY, enter your storage location and then you can see a tab called picking just pick the quantity you have mentioned in the sales order and press the PGI TAB.

if u are on warehouse Mgmt , try to create transfer order-tcode: LT03
