ddic counted as licensed user?

hi guys

I am exceeding the no of user licenses in production server.

does the users DDIC, SAP*, SAPCPIC, TMSADM are also considered as user licenses?

Hi Pavan,

System users are not counted in SAP licensing and also service/communication users, expired users. You can run transaction USMM and perform test runs to confirm it. You can run this transaction several times until it meets your requirements after changes. Once you are satisfied, the results can be sent to SAP.

Depending on the SAP version you are. As of version 4.6C these system and reference users do not count
