use of safety period factor in APO

hi ppl,

can some one help me where do we find safety period factor in APO product master. the requirement is for creating alternative in APO similar to coverage profile in r/3.

Hi...go to the transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, under the Lot size tab you'll find 2 tabs for procedure and Quantity & date determination.Under quantity & date deter tab you can fill in Period factor (Field name REQ_COVER_TYPE).
