why HTTP & IDOC adapter do not require sender communication channel?

Hi

iDoc Adapter resides on ABAP stack and hence can communicate directly with Integration Server, for the conversion from IDoc to IDoc XML.Communication Channel is used for communication with the Integration Server which is obtained directly in case of IDoc .Hence Sender idoc adapter is not required and therefore no Sender Agreement.

Thanks

Both the adapters reside on the ABAP stack ie on the Integration Engine. This makes them both part of the IS pipeline and the processing is done automatically.

Note: They dont need sender agreement also.

Hi,

Because they lie on ABAP stack ie on Integration Engine...so that they can process directly but other adapter lies on Adapter engine.

Hi

Incase of IDOC it post the IDoc directly into the integration server.

The HTTP is used to connect the integration engine with the external system.
