Best configuration to install XI and R/3 in PC.

Hi experts,

following is the configuration of my PC.

1)One 1GB RAM (600+....FSB) and one 2GB RAM(800 FSB)

2)Core 2 DUo processor (2GHz)

3)945 intel motherboard (800 FSB)

4)250 GB HDD sata.

So my question is....if i install XI and R/3 in my PC ...will I get optimum speed....

I will be very helpful if someone who is having experience on that gives some suggestion....

can some one tell wat is the best possible configuration....so that i can run XI and R/3 smoothly?????

Yups that should be sufficient if its only for your personal use...many of the IT companies dont offer such configurations So i guess this should do for your personal use(for single user)

Hey 2GB and 160GB HDD is also sufficient for it.

XI 3.0 and SAP 4.7 are installed on my Leptop(Personal Use) and its work fine.

Initially(till XI server get up) your machine will get slow then it start working fine:-)

2 Ghz, 3 GB Ram and 240 GB HD is sufficient to run both R/3 and XI on one system assuming that you are planning to use this for perssonel use and not expecting many ppl to connect simultaneously to the system.

you can always start and stop the SAP instance when you want to run someother heavy application on use your system though.
