Hi all,

how are you doing? i'm new here....

today, when i tried to access to the R/3 system, the alert popup as below,

SAP System Message:

No connect to database, session terminated.

-


what can i do now ??

your help will be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot..

Tony,

Looks like your database is down? Or the listener process?

Do R3trans -d to see what messages you are getting. Send the trans.log file here

Also, see if the listener is started, lsnrctl stat from orasid

yes Andreas is absolutely right..

but one more small thing when there is an offline backup running on the system also u get the same message..If you are the Basis administrator u must be know whether the offline backup is running on the system or not right

.

I am getting same error in my SAP system.

Hi,

First of all, have you actually gone into sqlplus "/ as sysdba" and run startup, what do you get ?

You say this is a system copy was the source system oracle software 10.2.0.5.0 you have here.
