i am an abaper and getting an oppurtunity to work in PLM....so i mwant want to know is PLM something technical or functional and its scope in current and coming time.........................................

willl be it a wise for me to move over to PLM

Hi Anil!

The future of PLM seems promising for the following reasons.

1) The Asian region is seeing a boom in manufacturing , building & construction sectors.These would be the prime drivers for the demand of PLM .

2) SAP does not face a tough competition in case of PLM as compared to other functionals.

Hi Anil,

PLM is the functional module n it has a great scope in

coming future. So it's totally depends on you whether to

shift in function era or to continue in technical era.
