requirement to upload line items in to auction?

Hi,

I have requirement to upload line items from excel sheet in to auction while creation.

Can any body have idea how to do this..and where to start..

Hi,

via the Upload / Download function in Bid Invitation/Auction, you can upload

items into SRM. Have a look into Note 790860 and 734060 explaining some general tips

and tricks. It also contains the macro file for Excel to be able viewing the file.

It is a bit complicated but works.

When you have someone fit with Excel Macros you also can define your own

Excel Macro for up/download.

Thanks for your information. I want to upload the news items in to auction.

Is it possible with that excel sheet.

I dont want to change the line items ..i want to add the new line items..

please help..

Hi,

yes, it is possibel. The excel gives the structure how to A / D / U (Add, delete,

update) items. Like said, it is a bit tricky in the beginning, but it works.

Just give it a try.

ok thanks..i have checked ..and it is working ..but excel sheet is littile bit tricky for end users. So is there any option to simplify that excel sheet.

can you please let me know if you know how to simplify excel sheet.
