Hello All,

The following message appears many times in sm21 on Sap ECC6 - Solaris - Oracle:

'Event handler: Event XXX is not defined'

Any ideas about this problem? Is it possible that the event come from operating system level?

Thank you in advance

Olivier

are you really seeing "XXX" ?

check in SM62 to see if this events exist... if it does not exist, you wil lneed to find what tries to trigger that event, check in SM37 jobs and if anybody uses sapevt at OS level.

Hello Eric,

Yes I see 'XXX event is not defined' and the event xxx doesn't exist in SM62.

Nothing special in sm37. How can I check if sapevt is used at OS level?

Thanks,

Olivier

check user's shell history.

is this on a DEV system? maybe someone made a test and left it there?

also check in everybody`s crontab and also using "at" command
