New Forecast Models

My customer is in the business of hi-tech spares. He has a sophisticated forecasting model in place and wants to incorporate it in DP ( forecasting accuracies &ability to pick up trends etc are dar superior to existing models).

My issue is how can I develop & incorporate the model in standard DP forcasting?

Where should I incorporate it ?

Customer ruled out SAP strategic development(SDP) & custom development(CDP)

Hello Ajesh -

If the customer has ruled out SDP and CDP then why noto go ahead and try to inco-orporate using macros. thats the one thing you can do i guess.(correct me if i am wrong SCM Gurus)

Hello Ajesh -

I am not a technical guy so will not be able to point out the source code for existing forecast models. A SAP APO ABAP person can help you in this case.

When i said Macro you can just do it in macro builder and then that way trigger accordingly.

Customer prefer it in the standard way. In other areas of their business they use standard forecast models. They do not want to deviate from the std way
