Hello gurus,
can I upgrade DEV, QAS and PRD WAS Abap at the same time? TMS has been configured and an central transport directory is on PRD.
the platform is Windows 2003 and MS SQL 2007.
thanks.
Thats not a good practice...
All 3 systems have same configurations ?
If so then work on DEV system first.At this time you will be working with PREPARE recommendations like increasing the tablespaces,changing the permissions etc...
When comes to QAS , you can do all these DEV PREPARE recommendations as pre-work...This can reduce the time.
Same with PROD...( QAS Prepare recommendations).
Hope you got an idea ?
Thanks

upgrade DEV
run SPAU/SPDD and release the transport
copy PRD to QAS
upgrade QAS
import transport created in DEV
upgrade PRD
import transport created in DEV
so, you should upgrade only 1 system at a time.

Hi Han,
You should not do the upgrade at the same time.
Upgrade DEV first and test and if everything running smoth than goto QAS and test again than last the PRD.
