2007-09-12 17:55:31,299 [JCO.ServerThread-1] ERROR SERVER-EXCEPTION - [null,null,null,] com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (129) JCO_ERROR_SERVER_STARTUP: Server startup failed at Wed Sep 12 17:55:31 GMT-04:00 2007.

This is caused by either a) erroneous server settings, b) the backend system has been shutdown, c) network problems. Will try next startup in 3600 seconds.

Missing -a<Program ID>

I see this error message in the log every 3600 seconds.

I initially thought it happens if there is any bad connectors, and if I see RED in the connection status, but I have see this message often even if all the connectors are up and running and there is no red in the connection status.

Can anybody please let me know what it is?

Regards,

Pramod

By default there is an idoc listener turned on. Because of the invalid configuration this error will be seen in the log files. There's no reason to be concerned and it can be stopped if desired.

Just delete the default sample IDOC listener that the install puts there.
