Smartform ECC 6.0 - Drag and Drop functionality

Greetings All,

We recently upgraded our DEV box to ECC 6.0. I am trying to modify some existing smartforms and the drag and drop feature from the field list into a text element doesn't seem to work. When I click the mouse to drag, I get the black circle with the line through it and it doesn't drag.

Also, when I create a new text element inside the smartform, the 'editor' now is microsoft word, which surprises me. And help would be appreciated.

Try this it may be helpful to solve your problem...

I got the Changing MS word to normal in ECC 6.0,

goto transaction -

---

i18N ---

click & open node ---i18N Customizing

then click on----MS Word as Editor

uncheck checkboxes of smartform and sapscript.

And activate it.

Also check i18N any settings must be there.

You can change to the old editor

by clicking on the editor icon on the left hand side of the microsoft window

Once it opens up. Chooge goto change editor. It will bring up the old editor

Thanks for the info, I did change the editor and I found that I can type

in field names by using the '&' symbol. Ex. &wk_name&. When I green arrow back, they do appear as fields (that is with the grey background) so this is great. Why the drag/drop doesn't work I don't know, but this workaround will work just fine for now. thanks!
