Hi,

when u give sub total to particular condition type, the value 'll save in seperate table and field which can be used for someother purp[oses.

iam giving good example here

TO CALCULATE CREDIT PRICE, SYSTEM TAKES BASE VALUE FROM SUB TOTAL 'A'

. we specify sub total to gross value or netvalue as 'A' in pricing procedure. this value is saved in KOMP-CMPRE (table-field)

system takes this value as a Base to calculate the Credit Price

Condition Subtotal Controls whether and in which fields condition amounts or subtotals (for example, a customer discount or the cost of a material) are stored.

If the same fields are used to store different condition amounts, the system totals the individual amounts. These condition amounts or subtotals are used as a starting point for further calculations. You may, for example, want a subtotal of all the discounts included in the pricing of a sales order.

For e.g. For Credit check, you must maintain subtotal as "A" at the Total Price level. This enables the Total Price value to be carried over to the KOMP - CMPRE field, which is checked by the standard SAP Program for doing the credit check, and assign a credit block.

Similarly, all subtotal indicators have different relevance with respect to the standard SAP processes and programs running in background during these processes.

Thanks

The subtotal field is used to assign a subtotal key to a step in the pricing procedure. The value of the condition type, if required in other areas of the system can be copied through this field.

You decide the value of Subtotal field depending upon what is the value and where you need the value to be carry forwarded. eg) If I want the cost value (PR00) to be carried over to VBAP-WAWR then I would use 'B'. Similarly the credit price can be carried over using value 'A'. The values 1 to 6 can be used for any user created condition types. The subtotal value 1 to 6 would take the value to KOMP which is a pricing table.

Hi,

Subtotal:

•The value of this field determines where the values of subtotals to be captured i.e. in which table and which field.

•Controls whether and in which fields condition amounts or subtotals (for example, a customer discount or the cost of a material) are stored.

•If the same fields are used to store different condition amounts, the system totals the individual amounts.

•These condition amounts or subtotals are used as a starting point for further calculations. You may, for example, want a subtotal of all the discounts included in the pricing of a sales order.
