Configuring TREX with SOLUTION MANAGER for Solution Database

Hello experts!!!!!!

I have successfully installed TREX. I have configured RFC between Trex and Solution Manager. I have also confgured SRMO in solution manager!!!!

Now when i try to make an entry in SDB, i am still getting a dump.

Can anybody give their suggestions/comments for the same. Is there any more settings which i have to do.

Any inputs WILL BE appreciated!!!!1

Hi Achilles,

as I said, SRMO setting are not required.

Required are:

- functioning RFC (TREX)

- check of SAF Tool settings (TA: CRMC_SAF_TOOL)

- configuration of SDB

For Solution Manager, the configuration procedure is described in the S P R O transaction. If you go through that and you still get a short dump, I suggest you open message to SAP.

Thank you for response. I did open an OSS message. The thing is working now.

But i configured it in very hap hazard way. Still i am not sure whther the same configuration will work in the first shot.

Can you give me step by step list of things to be followed.

Hi,

you do not need to configure SRMO for Solution manager SDB.

As of SP 11 you can configure SDB for Service Desk via SPRO: scenario-specific -> Service Desk -> Solution Database.

Heyyy...

I have already done the SRMO setting( i did mention it in the stem of teh message).

But when i configure it SDB(create probelm) i am still getting a dump!!!
