which type of implementation is wisely preferred :
implementation using solution manager
implementation using asap methodology
pls provide explanation in detail..
Thanks
well Rishi
i guess you are bit confused , ASAP methodology is standard which most of the companies use in the world , but then Solution manager is a tool which simplifies the ASAP methodlogy and you can tract things using solution manager which helps on a serious note when you have multi country roll outs and tracking sometimes seems to be difficult ...
So basically solution manager uses the same mathodology which is inbulit in SAP and does not cost any extra for licencing the same ,
Hope this helps

Hi
Major league different. Solution Manager to SAP's replacement for ValueSAP, not a version of ValueSAP in SAP instance form. While Solution Manager does use road maps and some other tools first introduced by ValueSAP, most of the documents, the Q&A database, etc. are not usable in solution manager It is a totally different approach to project management.
Please solution manager has many other features - service desk, central monitoring, etc.
Solution manager can be used to manage you transports, configuration in your system landscape, development across systems, documentation, test scenarios, ... and all the mySAP stuff.
Solution Manager is delivered in SAP and contains the old ASAP roadmaps as well as many more neat features.
