i got following error while doing the DBInstance installation i am doing ECC5.0 with OS windows2003 server & Oracle9i
Hi guys,
i am doing ECC5.0 installation with OS Windows2003 and Database Oracle9i when doing DBInstance Installation i am getting the follwoing error at Oracle Preload Action Phase..
ERROR 2007-09-13 15:59:19
CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: Executable D:\oracle\ora92/bin/sqlplus.exe returns 959.. SOLUTION: See ora_sql_results.log and the Oracle documentation for details.
also i checked in the ora_sql_resulsts.log file also but i didnt getting the solution..

Hello chandubabu,
There might be two issues here
1). Your hardware configuration is very inadequate especially the memory.
2). You have to use "sapserver.cmd" as this command file is optimized
for the SAP.

hi chandubabu
i suggest you to start the installation from the first because if ora<sid> user is not been created and your oraclesid path is not set correct, you cannot succeed in installation. follow a good installation guide..../ i think ecc 5.0 with oracle will go fine...no probs
use sapserver.cmd while installing oracle and do apply oracle patch..

Check for Note 898244 also your oracle version[Make sure you are using bug free software].Do apply ora patches also.It works fine with 8.1.7.
Restart from scratch again...
