Hi,
I have material respository in MDM Syndication with set of data records.
Now, I want to map Source Items to Destination Items in MDM Syndicator.
I can see the source Items, however I am not able to see the destination items.
Can anybody let me know which step have I missed out.
Regards,
Priti
Hi Priti
The destination items in the Syndicator are either read from a specific XSD (when creating XML output), or created by hand (usually for creating flat file output.)

Hi Priti,
In order to syndicate records we need to have the target structure which can be of file/XML Schema/XML Schema File/Port type.
For file type you can create target structure in destination tab.
For XML type you need to generate xsd, when you are ready with xsd file you can go to file-> destination properties and select the appropriate file type, remote system and file (If Xml type). Then you are able to have target structure for mapping.
Hope this helps you to slove.

Hi Santosh,
I selected Destination Item tab and then File ---> Destination Properties
I gave the following as input :
Type : XML Schema File
Remote System : MDM
XML File Name : <Here is is asking to select XML Schema Definition file>
From where can I create this XSD file ? so that I can select the same here.
Please guide.
Regards,
Priti
HI Priti,
In MDM terminology, an .xsd file that has been saved to a repository through the MDM Console is called an XML Schema. An .xsd file located on an external file system is called an XML Schema File.
How to Generate XSD Schemas from Existing MDM 5.5 Repositories :--
Hope this helps you.

Santosh.
