Hello,
We have defined sap solution manager as our CEN system.
We have installed and configured CCMSPING agent on our monitored systems according sap documentation. We are now able to monitor satellites system availability. When a satelitte system is shutdown, an alert is triggered on our CEN system. But just ONE alert is triggered, even if the system is unavailable during all night. It is only when the sytem is restrated and then shutdown again that a second alert is triggered.
We are using the following MTE to check system availability (ecc6) :
SAP CCMS Technical Operations Templates >Availability->Check by CCMSPING.
Is it possible to trigger repeatedly several alerts when a system is unavailable, until the system is restarted ?
For instance the following MTE CEN\MoniInfra_yvas1020_PS6_00\DataSupplier\Log triggers an alert every minute.
Thank you for your help.
Best Regards.
Frod.
Hi Frod,
this behaviour is by design to avoid triggering multiple alerts. Once you confirm
the alert, a new one will be generated if the system is still unavailable.
