ORACLE table where basic salary is stored

hi all,

please tell me the name of the table where employee compensation is stored. i can see it using PA20 but i need to know the table where all this information is stored.

Aijaz,

Sometimes, you can find what are the tables that a transaction is using by looking in the report that is called when a transaction is executed.

To find the report, run the transaction from the sapgui and then go to the bottom right of your screen and click on the page icon. You will then find the program name. Then you can display the program in se38. If the program has includes and is calling other programs, then you will have to go through them... Tedious!

that's a typical question of people having full access on database level but not to the ABAP transacations when trying to access information the are not allowed to....
