Hi gurus,
I am well aware about the total process of TOR and availaiblty check.
The only doubt is if TOR is not triggered then availabilty check wont happen or there is no such interdependence.

TOR:( Transfer of Requirements)
Means when u r creating any order passing the information to the PP or MM team is called the TOR.
Avilability Check.
It tells whether the Material is avilable or not on the Particular Delivery Date.
First TOR happens then Avilability check goes on..

hi,
Transfer of requirements(TOR) will make sure that the goods are available at the right time so that they can be supplied to the customer.
System will do the availability check based on those available stock which is present in your plant as a result of TOR.
Passing on the requirement to procurement and production means transfer of requirements. Goods availabilty will be done based on the available stock.Both go hand in hand
