Not picking the stock for the delivery

Dear friends,

Though the stock is available, it is not getting picked for the delivery.

Can you guide me what are the things I should check to solve the issue.

Hi,

If the picking tab is grayed use T.Code LT03.( IF ware house management is activated).Here fill the ware house number and plant and mention the delivery note number also. Now use The T.Code TCode VL02N here u can see the system automatically picks the required quantity.

If the picking tab is not in gray mode mention the storage location and the plant correctly. Even though the system is not picking the quantity check the Picking location determination with rule MALA.and also check any open orders are crated for the particular material .

Hi,

1. Is the stock confirmed for the particular sales order. In VA02 juct check it in the schedule lines tab.

2. IMG - logistics execution - shipping - picking - define relevant item categories. Here select your item category, if in front of it there is no tick then the system will grey out the field for pick qty in the delivery in VL01N.

Check with the Item category of the document, whether item is relevant for picking or not?

Pls check whether the stock which is shown as available is scheduled for delivery, or is assigned to some open order........

if that is the case, then it wont be picked in your delivery.....

Also, if your warhouse is WM enabled, then check whether the stocks are assigned to the bins or not, and the TO is created against delivery.......

Hi Atul,

Check weather you have entered any Storage location in the Sales order and compare the same with one determined in the Delivery document. Then check where the stock is available.

The storage location where stock is available should be entered & determined in Sales order & Delivery document.

Hi,

If the picking tab is greyed then u have to do Transfer Order through LT03.
