Guide to catalog punch out (config and setup)

Hi Guys,

I am new to your SRM world. Need help regarding some detailed guide lines as to setup punch out and what should be taken in to consideration.

I have some experience with internal catalogs. We are on SRM server 5.00 and CCM 2.00

Catalog names are case sensitive. CCM is not a required component for punchout functionality.This is very much possible.

There is no any relationship between connecting punchout catalogs and CCM. Punchout catalogs are external vendor maintained catalogs and CCM is maintained by the content management in the company. To connect your punchout catalog you need to create a catalog call structure and the vendor catalog should able to transfer OCI fields to SRM Server.

I say no need of any CCM Installation.

OCI parameter should be like this.

0 http://<J2EEhost.domain>:<J2EEport>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM

10 username User1

20 password <blank>

30 server <MDM Server>

40 port <Repositiry port>

50 catalog <Repository name>

60 uilanguage SY-LANGU

70 datalanguage SY-LANGU

80 mask <blank>

90 named search <blank>

Which SRM version are you using ?

Hi

<u>To create internal catalog there are three possibilities</u>

1. CCM Catalog developed by SAP.

2. SRM-MDM Catalog taken over by SAP.

3. Requisite Catalog other catalog provider.
