NW 2004s ABAP Trial Version vs MS Vista

Hi.

I got a new PC with MS Vista and now I got the "Abap Object" book with the CD. When I try to install (using setup.exe) I got an java-error message immediately.

Is the software on the CD not compatible with Vista or can I download an trial version from SAP which are compatible. Or is it something else?

I'm also having Vista OS & facing the same Problem of Installing Mini SAP .

Can you please explain me how to do the Installation ? Or we had to download any patches for installing it ?
