maybe some other user already did something to the record you want to delete? Try refreshing by pressing the <F5> button. Otherwise, make sure the lookup value is not used by any other record.
It looks like an issue which has come up due to an upgrade -did you by any chance recently upgrade to SP patch 2 ? Also do check if the record is checked out by a user / used in any of the records in the master table.
Yes, we recently upgrade to SP patch 2. That may be the reason, other than that there are no constraints on the record. Is there any troubleshooting document available for Data Manager?
