Messages sitting in Adapter engine???????

Former Member

hi all,

I found in adapter engine 5 message status with delivering and all other messages status with "To Be Delivered".

the first message which is having status delivering, audit log says:

write to FTP server "Ip address",directory "/in", file "PurrchaseOrder_20070912.txt"

transfer: "TXT" mode, size 4910 bytes, character encoding Cp 1252

this message is sitting like that only, the status is not changing DLVD.

i did check smq2,smq1 there is no messages, and i tried with deregister the queues and i refresh the cache also.

Can anyone please tell me what was the problem, it is happening in production, it is very urgent.

answer will be rewarded.

kiran.

If it is a Windows target system, check the event log on target. Maybe some ftp error. Does it happen with one interface or multiple ? Only on this one target system ?

Kiran Kumar,

We had similar issue earlier. Suprisingly we have found on couple of occasions that the message has been delivered but the status reported is wrong on the RWB.

First, please make sure whether the message has been delivered.

Which SP are you guys on?

From what I remember, this was one big issue with 3.0 SP 16. But it was to do with EOIO. Are you on that version?

hi all,

we are using PI 7.0, and it is happening with only one interface.

I am getting the same behavior ... Have you found something ?

In our case, the message are getting processed, but it can take from 1 to 5 minutes ...

have you any operating system command after message processing?

It would be the cause of the delay in writting file.
