Hi All:
We are working in SCM 5.0, In earlier versions of 4.0 or 3.0 the source system is automatically assigned to 0SOURSYTEM characteristic in Transfer structure/ transfer rules. This is not the case here in SCM5.0/BI 7.0
The system provides the following options in rule details of
transformation:
1.No update No transformation
2.Constant
3.Direct Assignment
4. Formula
5. Read Master data and
6.Routine
None of the above could be used in mapping the source system ID.
If anybody who has been through this experience of loading source system in SCM 5.0, your input is requested.
Thank you

Hi Sadat,
You may opt to use a CONSTANT instead. Just put the name your system as constant rule in the transfer rules. For example, if the sourcesytem is GRD then put "GRD" in the transfer rules.

not sure of how to do it with BI 7 but if you want to get the BW3.x objects in SCM5.0 then try the transaction RSA1OLD and you should be able to see what you want
