Hi there,
it´s possible to connect a Domino LDAP from a EP7.0 as a Datasource for Users and Groups?
Any experiences?
Best Regards
Christian
Hello Christian,
you may use SUN ONE/iPlanet read-only deep hierarchy template for accessing Lotus Domino. Bascially, users are exposed as inetOrgPerson and groups as DominoGroup. So you can use the mentioned template and extend the <privateSection> e.g. through:
<ume.ldap.access.objectclass.user>inetOrgPerson</ume.ldap.access.objectclass.user>
<ume.ldap.access.objectclass.uacc>inetOrgPerson</ume.ldap.access.objectclass.uacc>
<ume.ldap.access.objectclass.grup>dominoGroup</ume.ldap.access.objectclass.grup>
<ume.ldap.access.naming_attribute.user>uid</ume.ldap.access.naming_attribute.user>
<ume.ldap.access.auxiliary_naming_attribute.user>cn</ume.ldap.access.auxiliary_naming_attribute.user>
<ume.ldap.access.naming_attribute.uacc>uid</ume.ldap.access.naming_attribute.uacc>
<ume.ldap.access.auxiliary_naming_attribute.uacc>cn</ume.ldap.access.auxiliary_naming_attribute.uacc>
<ume.ldap.access.naming_attribute.grup>ou</ume.ldap.access.naming_attribute.grup>
<ume.ldap.access.auxiliary_naming_attribute.grup>cn</ume.ldap.access.auxiliary_naming_attribute.grup>
Please note that by doing so groups must carry a Domino Directory hierarchy identifier (similar to the CN of a user).
Best regards
Michael
