I have a Basic Scenario File -XI-File

Getting the following Error :

Attempt to process file failed with java.lang.NullPointerException

I have kept the Right File at the Right Place With No Human Error.

Kindly Help.

Hi Jeet,

Let's first check the real cause of error..

Make the processing mode = delete..in sender communication channel if your file gets deleted from source directory then the problem will be in mapping else problem will be with the file name or the location where XI is polling.

Common Mistakes made by people in file scenarios .

1. File name is case sensitive ...it is a very common mistake that people make in naming the file.

2. Proper access rights of the area where XI is polling.

Kindly check the sender communication channel at RWB also.

Well No, Message Has Not Reached the IE, The Error comes at the time of Picking up the file Itself I guess.

No, I m not using any FCC.

This Error is seen in RWB at the Sender side File adapter...!!
