BI reporting from Solution Manager

Hi ,

I have a query on BI reporting from Solution Manager. I was reading SPRO documentation related to BI reporting. SAP recommends that the BI client not be the SAP Solution Manager client.

Don't know why SAP has recommended for separate client for BI reporting.

Can somebody throw me light on this?

Hi,

I believe you are referring to SOLAR_EVAL where you can generate reports for different phases. The reason why BI Reports cannot be supported by SOLMAN Reporting is becuase BI system is specifically dedicated to generate reports.You will be able to do lots of report analyses using BI system.
