Line item interval for SCs and POs

Is it possible to change line item numbers to start from 10, 20, ,,,,etc instead of 1,2,3,.. etc. for shopping carts and POs ? Is there a BADI involved or somewhere in config ? Where is the line item interval defined ?

In R/3, you can define the line item interval in the doc type config.

Which SRM version are you using ? Why you want to do this ?

Any specific reasons/ requirments ?

We have similar requirment long time back, We tried a lots of things.. But no luck, I guess, it's not possible at all in SRM...

Hi Atul:

Our users, especially the A/P folks, would like to have consistency between R/3 PO and SRM PO line items. In R/3, PO line items are numbered from 10, 20, ,,,,etc., however, for SRM PO line items, (Ext classic) they are numbered 1, 2,3, ,,,, etc.

I guess we might have to use a BADI to change the line items on the local PO and then replicate it over to backend with line items, 10, 20,,,,,,.

Do u know which BADI can we use to do this ?
