How can I copy a sales order ??

Hi ,

I want to copy a sales order. I mean I want to create sales order exaclty like other sales order.

Is there any way to do that ?? Please let me know ..

Hi Madhu,

Go to VA01, enter order type. then click on Create With Reference button, select orders and enter the original sales order.

Check in VTAA whether copy controls have been maintained for the copied and referenced order type to ensure proper flw of data from referenced document to copied.

Then you need to get copy control set up. Do not try to do an abap development and copy table level stuff to accomplish this. Copy control is the standard and proven way to make this happen

Maintain copy control between sales order to sales order i.e. OR to OR

Then when you create a sales order in VA01, click on create with reference, there you select sales order and give the sales order no. you want to copy.

what if we are not maintaining copy control for Standard sales order to Standard sales order.

Please let me know.

If you do not maintain copy control then you would not be able to referece/copy your sales order. So you need to maintain that.
