CCMS context for SAP Systems with SAP DB

Hello!

I would like to set up Central System Administration for SAP systems with SAP DB.

In order to monitor relevant DB actions, like backup, etc. I would like to upload the CCMS context <b>SAP DB Monitoring <SAPSID></b>.

E.g. for the Alert element Used Data Space the following path will be responsible: <b><SAPSID>\SAP DB Monitoring:<SAPSID>\SAP DB\Space Management\Data Area\Used Data Space</b>

How can this be done?

Dear Thom,

Firstly you need to create 2 RFC's for the satellite system to be monitored via the Central System : One for data collection and one for analysis.

Then you can go to RZ21 and follow the menu path Technical Infrastructure --> Configure Central System --> Create Remote Monitoring Entry. Assign the RFC's here.

One this is done you can generate an monitor with the required entries for the satellite system monitoring in the Central System. You can copy any MTE's of your choice in this monitor from the Satellite system.
