hii could anyone explain to me the concept of ARCHIVED........i am workin on an export scenario and when i did PGI ...the document flow shows goods issue status as ARCHIVED......what does this mean

Hi

It basically means that it was deleted but since there probably were consequent documents (such as goods issue or transfer order), the system archives it instead of deleting it.

Archive is the process by which you can remove and delete data from your SAP database.

Archiving consists of three steps:

• The removal of data from the SAP database.

• The storage of the data outside of the SAP data base.

• The access to the archived data
