or ls tell me whr can i find it .

Hi Markus,

Thanq for the reply.

I have followed the entire path u have given me(my req: kernel 640 on 32 Bit,database:oracle) ,i found out arnd 10 downloads which say

"Kernel partII(for basis 640/620/610)Q1 2007",Kernel partII(for basis 640/620) .

Among these which one should I go for .Pls suggest.

One more question : When shud we install SAP Kernel?(we are going for a new installation) , is it before running SAPINST or after completing SAPINST .

It's described there what you need to download and hwo to install the patches.

You can't install them BEFORE you ran sapinst because there will be no directory structure to put them into
