ALE Material Master and XML files

Hi All,

I am using ALE to create material master IDocs which is written to XML port

and to XML file.

One IDoc is written to one XML file

Second IDoc is written to second XML file

Thrid IDoc is written to thrid XML file

That means for one IDoc there is one XML file

Actually, I want for One IDoc,Second IDoc and Thrid IDoc ---> one single XML

file.

How do we accomplish the same?

Use the transaction MDM_CLNT_EXTR in R/3.

Can you explain me how the transaction MDM_CLNT_EXTR works in

R/3

It is asking for the following paramaters :

1) Variant

2) Configure the new variant description

3) Extraction Object

4) Target System

Note 1035601 could not be opened in OSS.

Is there any other note.

Hi Michael,

I could open the note 1035601 and also the PDF.

I ran the transaction MDM_CLNT_EXTR in R/3 but the job got cancelled with following error message "Could not determine recipients for message type MDMRECEIPT"

Can you please tell me how to overcome this error?

Hi,

I added MDMRECEIPT message type in distribution model and then generated partner profiles.
