what is ICM ?

what is ICM and what is the process takes place in ICM projects. pls give me any documents other than help.sap.com

What type process is going on in ICM? and Technical people can do what type of work in ICM

Hi

ICM ie Internet Connection Manager. It allows you to access ur SAP system by using brower.

Previously we need to install ITS Internet Transaction server. It needs to be install separately. Butnow adays ICM is the part of SAP kernel.

ICM decides where to fwd ur users request ie ABAP engine or JAVA engine.

The correct term should be "Internet Communication Manager", useful when 3 types of protocols are used: HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP

You still need to go thru saphelp document, to at least understand what is it for, and how the architecture likes.....etc

I think you should first understand the "Purpose" of deploying ICM.
