Is HTML template changes advisable from upgrade point of view?

Dear friends,

We have come across the following requirement for which we need to modify standard template from Internet Services option in SE80.

Activating Tracking number in shopping Cart screen – we found OSS note 676016 which recommends modifying template SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 300.

My question is -

Is HTML template changes advisable from SRM upgrade point of view?

In future if SAP modifies these templates then do need to manually change the template during next upgrade?

Hi

No issues as such. In future first of all, SAP does not modify the solutions given through OSS Note. That is SAP's guarantee.

Even if does modifies these templates then you can anyhow need to manually change the template during next upgrade.

If SAP updates the template then we have no option other than to change templates manually.

Hi All,

Sorry for the delay in reply as i was on long vacation.

SAP has replied saying that template changes need to be manually carried out again after upgrade.
