I got Spool Number , I need to convert that content into PDF file and has to send as mail to users

But here my requirement is I have Payslip for Different Users , I got the spool number for that payslip.
Now I have to convert it into PDF format and have to save it on my desktop folder
after that I need to send it as mail.
So, how to convert it into PDF file ?
I have come accross 2 function modules CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
I don't think that my spool is not in OTF format.
First can you tell me what is OTF foramt and can I convert my Spool number to this format, as this is not script I don't know.
But in those two FM i am confused in passing parameters.

You should use GUI_DOWNLOAD function module to download to your presentation server(i.e Desktop)..
