I am trying to find the guides to do a system copy. The notes and service marketplace are driving me insane!
Apparently it is very important to distinguish between SR1 and SR2 when looking at the SAP notes (see Note 870863 - Hom./Het.System Copy SAP NetWeaver 2004s).
How do you determine if your NW2004s system is SR1 or SR2??
Hi Philip,
NW04s SR1 means --> Your SAP System is running on SP6.
NW04s SR2 means --> Your SAP System is running on SP9.
SR1 & SR2 are the Systems Release with the default SP stack that they come with.
This is valid for ABAP as well as J2EE Stack.
I hope this answers your query!
Regards,
Prem

Go to http://service.sap.com/instguides
->Installation & Upgrade Guides
->SAP NetWeaver
->SAP Netweaver 7.0 (2004s)
->Installation
->Installation - SAP NetWeaver Systems
from here you can see the link to download:
- System Copy for SAP Systems Based on NW2004s SR1 ABAP+Java
or
- System Copy for SAP Systems Based on NW2004s SR2 ABAP+Java
See also the Media List for SR1 and SR2. They are mainly difference in SP level.
(I assume you are looking for ABAP + JAVA)
