Error creating Order

I am getting the following error while creating SO for newly created item:

I do not understand the language issue.

Material 908-100 is not defined for sales org.1000, distr.chan.10, language DE

Material 908-100 is not defined for the following combination of requirements:

Sales organization 1000

Distribution channel 10

Language DE

You can check whether

the material number that you entered is correct

the material has been created for the sales organization and distribution channel

a short text with the appropriate language exists in the material master record (a short text must be available in the language of either the customer or the sales organization)

1.MM02 GOTO ADDITIONAL DATA CHECK THE LANGAGE DE MAINTAINED OR NOT.IF NOT PUT DE AND SAVE...

Try creating new sales order after doing above activity...

If not,

2.IF MATERIAL IS NOT CREATED FOR THE SALES ORG AND DC EXTNED IN MM01 ...Also try by putting divion (Same in ur sales area) in MM02 and save again..

Hi,

1. <b>In MM01</b> when you create the material you have to select the organizational data - <b>Plant, storage location, sales organisation, distribution channel</b>.

Check whether you have maintained the material for the correct organizational data, if not then extend the material for the same.

2. As far as the language is concerned, go to <b>MM02</b> - select the material, the views, the Organizational data, press enter. There above the Basic data 1 screen you will see link for <b>additional data</b>. Click here and maintain the required language "DE".

WHILE CREATING THE SALES ORDER CHECK THE SALES AREA OF THE CUSTOMER AND ALSO OF THE MATERIAL.

YOU WILL GET THE ERROR IF IT IS NOT MAINTAINED FOR THE SALES AREA

Hi

Go to transaction code MM02 and enter the material number and select the views and at the bottom you can find organisational levels click on it and enter the new sales organization and distribution channel it will take you in to the selected view then save it . it will be give a prompt saying that material is extended

Also Pls check the sales area for material as well as Extend material to the specified language in MM02 and in additional data maintain the desired language

Then go to va01 and raise the sales order . hope this will solve your problem
