Hello,
When I launch the SAP MMC, I am unable to see any entries in the MMC. According to the direction sent along with the drive. Once we log into the 2003 server and launch the SapMMC we should be able to see all the entries for CRM/BI/EP/APO/XI/ECC. However nothing is there.
I did try SAPSTARTSRV.exe but it gives a error cannot modify service open service failed 424.
Please advise with any suggestions/ideas.
Thanks
Hi,
When using sapstartsrv you need to double check a few things... first check if the SAP<SID>_XX service is missing or stopped... if its missing just try to recreate it, Also when using sapstartsrv make sure that the username have the domain in front as <domain>\<user> or if its a local installation .\user

Hi,
Look for the SAP services are running.
Open SAP MMC...
add new snap-in
Open MMC then Click on menu "File" "Add/Remove Snap-in" Click on "Add" Select "SAP System Manager" then "Add" Type the system information <SID> as System and "<hostname> <instance number>" as Instance, then click on "Add".

Ganesh
