Hello Guru's,

I have mistakenly deleted everything under /oracle/<SID> directory structure . I am doing dbcopy. Could anybody please help me out for the quciker resolution?

Depends on the type of backups you are doing.

-> Restore from backup oracle database

-> Restore from backup OS ( software )

The last one is not commonly used,it is possible that you need to resintall the software.

As you are deleted the offline redo logs, I do not think you can do a complete recovery,therefore you will have to do a PIT recovery until your last backed up redo log.

restore from your OS backup. you always start a backup before doing important stuff, right?
