Hello,
after deploying the J2EE-Calculator Tutorial from my NDS to the local J2EE Server, i can't start it in the Browser.
J2EE is unable to find the JSP-File.
( The requested resource /Calculator/Calculator.jsp is not available)
It seems that NDS deploys to I:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\CalcualatorEar\servlet_jsp\myCalculator\rootbut J2EE expects the files at I:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.engine.docs.examples\servlet_jsp\_default\root.
So where can i set the properties, that this example works.
Any hint?
Thanks,
Frank
Hi,
I am using SAP XI 3.0 SP5 running under Linux.
I am using the DeployTool to deploy in the SAP J2EE Server a WAR file.
After deploying the Web App from my NDS to the J2EE Server, can't start it in the Browser.
J2EE is unable to find the JSP-File.
( The requested resource /iwae/index.jsp is not available)
It seems that NDS deploys to
\cluster\server\apps\sap.com\iwae\servlet_jsp\iwar\root
but J2EE expects the files at
\cluster\server\apps\sap.com\com.sap.engine.docs.example\servlet_jsp\_default\root
How to fix this?
I did everything, reboot the Linux Box, SAP XI, made no manuel change when deploying the WAR in the DeployTool...
Need help!

Yes, it is not the best solution to reboot the system when somthing goes wrong, the questions about the problem still unanswered.
It would be interesting to know what happened with frank Winkler Calculator.
Maybe something about the services that were running?

I had the same problem, i did everything like it was specified in the tutorial, but when I open the browser with the URL: http://localhost:50000/Calculator/Calculator.jsp
it gave me an error, but when i restarted my machine, voila! it worked!
Did you try that?

Don't care too much for this, as Server and deployment handle these things differently.
Like a webserver (which you actually using here) this system handles a real path and a logical path that it maps too.
If you manipulated somewhere in the project then there may come up a problem. Did you try to deploy the project as is?

Benny
